We are looking for a Structural Drafter to join our Gold Coast team. With a reliable and growing client base and backlog of projects we are offering an immediate start for a permanent full time position.

The position is suitable for a professional with 0 - 6+ years experience as a structural drafter Remuneration will be commensurate with experience. Minimum - Experience in Revit is preferred. Either way training, support and mentoring will be provided to grow your experience, for mutual benefit.Company Profile

The Structural business unit is closely interfaced with the Civil team, with many projects involving a collaborative delivery effort to support our client's requirements.Position Description
The successful applicant will be required to produce structural documentation for reinforced concrete, post tensioned concrete, and steel framed structures on medium to large scale projects as well as management of the software systems, document control and quality assurance. Documentation will primarily be provided in REVIT for both concrete and steel structures, so experience in REVIT is preferred. Experience in CAD at recent TAFE course or CAD drafting is advantageous if no Revit experience.
Applicants will also need to possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
The ideal professional we seek will have a competent level of knowledge and experience in structural engineering design and documentation, attained in consulting engineering office (however we note that we will consider a more junior engineering drafter role - with Fresh recent TAFE experience).
A strong background in detailing concrete, reinforcement and steelwork is very advantageous for this position and an attractive salary will be commensurate with experience.Required Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible for this position you should have the following qualifications:0-6 years full-time experience in a structural drafting role, preferably including work within building structures, multi level construction knowledge and PT experience is an advantage.Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering Drafting (preferred but not mandatory).Ability to prepare engineering drawings using Auto CAD and/or REVIT Structure.Previous drafting experience is essential.Duties & Responsibilities
This position will include such duties as, but not restricted to:Production of structural engineering documentation to a detailed and accurate design standard.Knowledge of relevant engineering and construction industry standards.Delivering projects within specified time periods.Awareness of the commercial aspects of projects and a client focus.Ability to communicate clearly, particularly through the preparation of engineering drawings.Culture & Benefits
