About You

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and looking to take on a career in sales. We encourage personal and professional development and your manager will provide you with the tools to excel in this role and start building your sales career at ResDiaryYou have a passion for Sales, and have 1+ years experience working as part of a sales team before, preferably in a SaaS environment. Cold calling experience is preferredWeve met before Previous experience of using ResDiary (or another TMS) in a front or back of house hospitality setting is valuable experience for this role, but not expected - training will be provided. Any experience in hospo will be highly regarded.Youre good with people. Youll be communicating directly with potential customers and ResDiary team members over different departments, locations and time zones, so you need to be a team player who can communicate well to both external and internal customers. Youre flexible - we are a dynamic business in an industry which has been challenged these last two years, and that means having expert awareness of the changing needs of hospitality businesses. Youre driven to exceed targets, with the very highest levels of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities of the role

Youll be responsible for; prospect and opportunity identification, generating quality sales introductions and appointments with new hospitality operators for the sales team. Achieving sales KPIs and contributing to the team targets.

Required CompetenciesProficiency in English required (additional fluent languages advantageous)Relationship and rapport building with prospectsIntelligent qualification questioningAbility to prevent potential sales objections and blockers through research and strategyAbility to challenge sales objections and blockers when they arise in a professional mannerSetting appointments and commitment gaining competenceUnderstanding and empathy with the frustrations of hospitality operatorsActively listening to prospects requirements and presenting appropriately to secure an appointmentPresent yourself as a representative of ResDiary via telephone and email communication, inspiring confidence in the product and yourselfAbility to communicate to potential buyers with influence both verbally and in written correspondencePerseverance and patienceProfessionalism and maturity in your behaviour with both internal and external customersCommercial awareness of the hospitality and digital reservations industriesIT competence Organisational skillsExcellent internal communication skills with an open and communicative working styleReceptive to change and flexible in attitudeSelf motivation, and able to prioritise your own workload and manage your timeDemonstrates willingness to seek and act upon peer and management feedback
