The Centre
This medium preschool centre based in Austral, is looking for an experienced Centre Manager OR an experienced Assistant Director to be trained into the Centre Manager position. Your role will be to take over the management of their well established service and team. They are inclusive and multicultural services who adopt an interest-led approach to early learning. Islamic and Arabic studies are implemented into their daily practices and learning activities as the majority of their enrolments are with this religious demographic. They have a strong school readiness curriculum and have connections to the local schools to integrate their children into primary school education. They are open from 7:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, and closed on public holidays and some Islamic religious holidays.
The Role
As Centre Manager or 2IC/Nominated Supervisor of the service some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Being responsible for the daily management and administration of the service
- Motivate, support and work in partnership with the leaders and educator of the service, driving them to excel as they deliver care and educational curriculum to children
- Overseeing the centre curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
- Driving quality in practices in line with the National Quality Standards
- Develop strong and trustworthy relationships with parents and families as well as members of the community

About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
- Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (equivalent or higher) qualification OR ACECQA-approved
- At least 2 years experience working within a 2IC role
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Manager
- A current Working with Childrens Check
