Job Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting the GM Finance in the financial and accounting management of the business through the provision of the following services:
- Weekly and Monthly income and expenditure reports to monitor actual performance against forecasts and budgets by departments and locations;
- Daily and Weekly cashflow monitoring and projection;
- Monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow statements;
- Weekly profit and loss statement;
- Monthly and Annual profit and loss statement;
- Monthly accruals, prepayments and relevant journal postings;
- All audit and compliance processes including external compliance reporting;
- Annual budget and business plan;
- Timely full Balance sheet reconciliation and maintaining of appropriate and relevant documentation as well as record registers;
- Weekly Bank reconciliations and cash variance reconciliation;
- Supervise the maintenance of fixed asset register and WIP balance reconciliation;
The Successful Applicant
The Finance Manager will ideally have the following background:-
- CA qualified. circa 3+ years PQE
- Probably not straight from a professional services firm - you will have had ideally at least 1 role in industry.
- You will have management experience
- great attention to detail
- Planning and Organisation skills
- Have dealt with people - and want to help people.
- FMCG or hospitality background would be amazing.
You will be ambitious and want to grow your career and develop your skill sets, whilst having gravitas and internal confidence.
