The role will provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to
complex problems. It may be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and
project management and policy development that support the NDIAs objectives to build a world-leading
National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The APS6 Digital Officer will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to complex, difficult or
sensitive issues. It may liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a representational role
on behalf of the branch/division/NDIA.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Produce original digital content to support engagement activities, in particular researching, scripting,
and editing short-form and long-form video.
Designing and editing of digital content, including infographics, enewsletters, and quarterly reports.
Overseeing planned events and supporting the live production of virtual events like webinars.
Providing technical strategies to staff leading digital content campaigns, assisting in the preparation,
delivery and evaluation of content.
Supporting leadership staff in the creation and implementation of team strategies and measures for
key performance indicators.
Liaising with external suppliers in accordance with Agency contracts and policies.
Working within relevant NDIA style guides and branding guidelines.
Leading data management activities and identifying risks and trends to assist forward planning and
informed deliverables.
The APS4 Digital Support Officer is a team membership position that will work within defined parameters
relating to their area of responsibility. It will apply well-established policy, principles, practices and
procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to NDIAs objectives to build a world-
leading National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The position will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound
knowledge and may undertake some research and analysis activities.

moderately complex enquiries.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

evaluation of the events including creation of key documents.
Undertaking desktop research and contributing to team resources.
Assisting the coordination with external suppliers in accordance with Agency contracts and policies.
Working within relevant NDIA style guides and branding guidelines.
Supporting data management activities and identifying risks and trends to assist forward planning
and informed deliverables.
