Specialist Anaesthetist Part-time and full-time positions available, fixed term and substantiveHighly desirable: Dual qualifications in Anaesthesia (FANZCA) and Pain medicine (FFPMANZCA) or sub-specialisation in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia with transoesophageal echocardiography certification.

We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management.
Your Opportunity:
Participate in patient care, teaching and the research focus of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management, which provides an adult tertiary 24-hour anaesthesia and perioperative service including trauma management, resuscitation management, pain services and malignant hyperpyrexia testing
About You :
Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)Fellow of Australian and New College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA)Demonstrated sound academic record and good clinical performanceDemonstrated professional expertise in Anaesthesia & Pain Management Services, including good clinical skills, appropriate management skills, an ability to cope with stress, and high motivation.Demonstrated commitment to a patient focused service and contemporary quality assuranceDemonstrated commitment to continuing educationDemonstrated professional and ethical behaviour in accordance with MH organisational values and behavioursHighly effective interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to relate positively and appropriately with patients and othersProven ability to contribute effectively as a participative and supportive team memberDemonstrated reliability and responsibilityDemonstrated insight and the ability to accept feedback about oneself, and to seek help and advice when needed. Highly desirable: Fellow of Faculty Pain Medicine (FFPMANZCA) or subspecialisation in cardiothoracic anaesthesia with transoesophageal echocardiography qualifications as per ANZCA professional document PG46 (POM) - Guideline on training and practice of perioperative cardiac ultrasound in adults.
