- Northern Suburbs - $16m educational project - independent school. Situated within stones throw of the ring road this $16m project has multistorey elements and combines sports and performing arts facilities. This builder has completed multiple stages at this school and has a great relationship with client and architect.
- Bayside - $15m retail project - live environment works within an existing shopping centre where you will be undertaking back to base build and repurposing of multiple shopping centre facilities. Long established builder with national reach who have great staff retention
- CBD Fringe - a role for an experienced SM who has a track record on commercial, industrial and retail projects. They are seeking an individual who can run their higher profile projects and mentor and develop Leading Hand/Foreman staff. Path to CM available. This builder works on projects from $1m upwards but recent projects included $20m CBD project and have a staged $100m retail refurbishment running over 3 years. A great business with market leading employee benefits.
Experience/Qualifications Required
- A stable track record in supervision of commercial building projects - either live environment experience or greenfield new build experience is imperative depending on the above projects.
- Good understanding of commercial building methods including structural steel, precast, building services and in ground works.
- Certificate III or IV in OHS, First Aid Certificate and Working With Children Check for the educational projects.
- An ability to programme, schedule and sequence trades effectively
- Experience in utilising site safety software such as Hammertech, Breadcrumb, Procore or similar
- A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
