The opportunity:
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a technically proficient Contract Administrator to work across a variety of sectors including commercial, infrastructure, retail hospitality, petrol & convenience and FMGC projects. We're looking for people who can hit the ground running and assume responsibility for projects from feasibility through to completion of contractual obligations, within scope and under budget.
You will thrive in this role if you are self-driven, resourceful and have the confidence & experience to solve problems and make decisions in consultation with the Project and Site Managers.
Skills/Experience Required 3+ years experience in a dedicated CA roleExperience in commercial / retail new build and refurbs essentialExceptional attention to detail, strong time management abilityTrack record of delivering contract admin on projects ranging from $1M -$15M Ability to work independently with strong communication skillsStrong knowledge of industry standards, regulations and construction methodology / buildability practicesStrong knowledge of contract administration of both Head and Sub contractsProficiency in Procore preferred but not essentialProven ability and experience in managing project budgets, budget dissection and taking full ownership of project cost control and monthly reportsA high regard for safety and ensures the health and safety of site staff throughout the projectProven ability to manage a project team provide clear communication and provide leadership and mentoring skillsProven ability to program works, staging and be Microsoft project proficientCapability to run more than one project at any given timeCapability to run As Built manual and documentation required for Occupation HandoverCapability to run defect management to thorough completion of a project
