Job Description
This position will assist the Chief Financial Officer in the provision of Financial Management. You will oversee the finance team's management of key financial, accounting and payroll services and liaise effectively with other business functions.
- Month-end close and associated monthly reporting process within required
time frame
- Supports CFO and guides finance in meeting the taxation compliance including FBT, GST, PAYG, STP
and other direct and in-direct taxes as required
- In liaison with Workforce services, support payroll compliance in regards to employee benefits
entitlements
- Assist with cost-centre reporting and KPI related financial data to support business decisions
- Liaise with other business units to assist budgetary planning & reporting requirements
- Ensure funding acquittals are tracked and managed as required
- Able to lead the finance team through the audit process
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required on financial matters under the direction of Chief
Financial Officer

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with a CPA/CA qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- Demonstrated skills in leading a team of finance professionals, ideally with a not-for-profit or community
- National Police Clearance willingness to obtain
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
