About the HomeBupa Tugun is a modern care home situated in a lovely beachside suburb on the sunny Gold Coast. You will be just minutes from local parks, beaches, cafes, shops and transport options. It consists of 163 beds, with high and low residential, respite and dementia care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About The Role
As a Clinical Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will manage 40-50 beds, supporting the General Manager in leading the clinical aspects and governance of the care home. You will be required to oversee ACFI, care planning, risk assessments, infection control and case conferences.
DutiesOversee the daily clinical operations of the care homeSupport and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and educationReview clinical incidents, complaints and changesLead compliance with ACFI assessmentsManage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carersPrepare and conduct clinical governance auditsOversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirementsLiaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care
Skills and ExperienceCurrent AHPRA is essentialBachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essentialPost grad qualification in aged care highly regardedExperience managing a minimum of 30 bedsProven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute settingExcellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilitiesHighly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skillsAn understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
