Fleet Procurement Manager

This is a new opening for a Fleet Procurement Manager in the Western Australian market for a short term project.

About the role:

Randstad is currently searching for a Fleet Contracts & Procurement Manager on behalf of one of our clients located north of the river, to oversee fleet contracts, procurement, and project management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage strategic medium to high risk procurement projects for fleet and services.
- Research, analyses and review fleet management issues.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and supervise staff.
- Provide a range of project management services to contribute to the development and delivery of fleet, plant and equipment.
- Ensuring project obligations are met so that work is completed on time and according to budget.
- Procurement and disposal of fleet, plan and equipment.
- Providing a high level of stakeholder engagement with internal customers, and demonstrating superior relationship management and influencing skills with internal and external parties.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and supervise staff.
- Work closely with project managers and corporate team members.

Key requirements include:

- Extensive experience in Fleet Management in a procurement environment.
- Tertiary qualifications (in conjunction with relevant experience) in procurement, business management, commerce or similar will be highly regarded.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication.
- Strong skills in research and analysis, able to simplify complex information for practical use.
