The Role
Skout Solutions, on behalf of Ventia is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced and qualified Crane Operators with Rigging experience. You will primarily be working on several shutdowns and sustaining capital works projects throughout the Pilbara. These positions are on a casual basis with the possibility of moving to a 2/1 roster however, the shifts on offer will be subject to client's needs. Hourly Rate - $45.53 + Super + $4.20 Site Allowance + $6.50 Shutdown/Project Allowance
Requirements
- Valid Driver's licence
- BHP Validation of Competency (VOC) for a Franna Crane
- High Risk Work Licence - Must show CO or CN
- High Risk Work Licence - Advanced Rigging (RA)
- Fire Extinguisher Training (One of the following competencies - MSMWHS212 / PUAWER008B / CPPFES2005A)
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical including D&A
Desirable
- Experience working for BHP, Rio Tinto or similar
- Experience with Rigging - Highly regarded
- Open or C6 Crane License - Not essential but highly regarded
- High Risk EWP, DG & LF - Not essential but highly regarded
- MSIC - Not essential but highly regarded
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in similar roles and projects
- Experience with various cranes and lifting equipment
- Competent developing, implementing and following risk assessments
- Understand and adhere to JHA's before commencing work
- Experience working under Permit to Work systems and adhering to Permit to Work conditions
- Ability to use tools and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
- Demonstrate ability to conduct work safely at heights
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels
