The Role:
Reporting to the Technology Team Lead, Group Digital the Technical Business Analyst will lead by example for all MLC Life Insurance employees by demonstrating commitment to and role modelling the MLC Life Insurance Values. You will drive success, your own and others, through inspirational team contribution.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Work with MLC Life Business Analysts to understand business needs and elicit technical requirements Translate business requirements into technical functional requirements; Work within an AGILE Scrum team aligned to a technology delivery team, working closely with the technical tester and developer; Work with their Scrum team to deliver change and enhancements to the delivery team; Assist strategic projects when there are elements of technology enabled change; Collaborate on solution design with the solution architect (when required), software developer and tester; Document functional requirements as per the MLCL standardised ways of working; Document acceptance criteria as per the MLCL standardised ways of working; Ensure that the solution aligns to MLCL strategies through a customer lens and creates value for the business; and Facilitate elaboration sessions with the developer and tester
About you: Minimum 1-2+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst Ability to investigate technical solutions that solve for business needs, problems and opportunities You can remove ambiguity and champion simplicity Ability to adapt your approach to be able to achieve the best outcomes in all situations. Ability to build rapport and credibility whilst dealing with colleagues and stakeholders. Effective facilitation skills Proven questioning skills and elicitation techniques
