Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre scheduled to open in quarter 2 of 2022 seeks engaged, approachable night operations gurus with sound business acumen and a passion for everything hospitality to join our business as Night Manager and Assistant Night Manager.
You are smart and considerate and love working with numbers. You will be a problem-solving genius that takes pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. You will ensure that all daily revenue has been captured and recorded accurately. You are resourceful, resilient & authentically passionate about creating & delivering exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities Love the brand & be a great ambassador of Hotel Indigo Brisbane City CentreAs the hotel ambassador in the absence of senior management overnight, you will manage all manner of guest interactions in a professional, friendly & measured way always positively contributing to our guests' experience. Being part of and taking the lead when required in hotel emergency procedures, together with assisting in ensuring the hotel complies with local government regulations concerning safety, and any other regulatory requirements. You've got a good eye for detail our processes are super important in helping us deliver a consistent guest experience. You will be responsible for accurately auditing and balancing our hotel's accounts at night. You'll also prepare daily revenue reports for our hotel and corporate management team. You'll be dealing with a variety of people, so your communication will be adaptable. You'll be a brilliant communicator - consistently clear and concise. You'll help us problem solve as we're still building our business; we have solutions to find, and your logical thinking and collaboration with teams across the business will be key. Most importantly you will manage the hotel overnight, its colleagues and guests, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay is achieved.
Skills & Experience Proven experience within a similar role or capacity Demonstrable experience with hotel PMS such as Opera and POS SimphonyYou will be a self-confessed Excel geek and love working with numbers with excellent attention to detail Professional and personable, with a with a can-do attitude You make calm, collected decisions even when the clock is ticking Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form You will be required to hold or obtain a First Aid Certificate and a QLD RSA certificate You must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in Australia
