- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an ICT environment implementing and supporting software systems.
- Proven experience in System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities.
- Proven experience in applying change management practices to implement changes to work practices and procedures.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, facilitate communication to promote understanding of the stakeholders requirements and negotiate for improved outcomes.
- Proven ability to evaluate complex business problems, identify the options, risks, costs and benefits to the organisation and its clients and recommend innovative solutions which deliver business improvement outcomes.
- Proven experience in the development of business cases and complex business process models using recognised business analysis methodologies and business process modelling techniques.
- Proven ability in providing analysis activity related to ICT and business transformation projects in accordance with recognised project management frameworks to ensure that project outcomes are successfully delivered.
- Broad knowledge of current and emerging ICT technologies and experience operating within and implementing business architecture and designing technology based solutions in organisations of varying size and complexity.
Desirable:
- Certification in PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or equivalent
- Knowledge of current case management of offenders - systems, processes and practices
- Experience and knowledge of current business analysis and business Improvement methodologies i.e. LEAN thinking etc.
- General knowledge of personnel management principles under the Public Sector Act, Work Health & Safety Act, and the Equal Opportunity Act.
