Qualifications:

- Trade qualification in Arboriculture or associated disciplines is desirable. In the absence of a trade qualification, a certificate of proficiency in arboriculture.
- Experience in practical Arboriculture.
- Demonstrate a high level of tree access skills both via Elevated work platform and climbing qualifications
- Medium rigid vehicle license.
- Safe and Competent driving vehicles up to 22.4 tonnes GCM

The Role:

- Location - North Eastern Victoria
- Start Times: 7am-4:30pm Shifts (Mon-Fri)
- Temporary Role: 3 Months (38hrs a week)
- Looking for an arborist with experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Remove trees and shrubs and conduct pruning and arboricultural operations in a safe and efficient manner with due regard for all relevant standards.
- Fell trees in all types of situations using climbing and mechanical systems
- Access all parts of the tree using climbing and mechanical systems
- Clear trees from power lines and cut and stack or remove all branches and brushwood.
- Maintains tree health by carrying out pruning in accordance with current standards of operation and recognises pests and diseases, nutritional disorders, and environmental stresses, and recommends action.
