IPWEA NSW and ACT (IPWEA) is a national professional organisation providing member services, advocacy and professional development for those involved in and delivering public works and engineering services to the community.
The Professional Development and Events Coordinator will be assisting in developing and delivering the Institute's training and events programs which includes the course portfolio and events. The position is also responsible for interacting with clients and sponsors as well as participants. In addition to this, the Coordinator will assist with the marketing and day-to-day administration of these key functions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the delivery of all events/courses including program content, venue selection sponsorship, delegate marketing, enrolments/registrations and associated activities
With the support of the Managers, be on site for and be responsible for organising and delivering a range of events/courses in different locations across the State of NSW and ACT
Provide administration support to for the organisations including entering registrations onto the CRM system including analytical reporting, booking venues, confirming participants, and preparation of materials.
Establish and maintain relevant databases of trainers, courses, conferences, sponsors, speakers, VIPs and participants.
Assist in the development of budgets for the training and event programs including pursuing outstanding debtors in line with business process systems and as directed.

You will be a natural organiser and be able to easily prioritise key activities within a timely manner.
Essential Selection Criteria - The successful applicant will need the following:
Intermediate MS Office 365, MS Team, SharePoint. Website and CRM experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to prioritise and organise multi-tasks on a daily basis
Strong planning skills and the ability to adjust quickly to changes
Previous experience in project and or event management
A sound understanding of not for profit and membership associations
Social networking skills or the ability to develop them
Good time management and interpersonal competency
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines as well as budgets
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
