Job Description
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Accountant will play a vital support role for growth of the business internationally, and the expansion of retail operations. They will also be the responsible for the monthly local and international accounting requirements, which will include the preparation of the month end reporting pack ensuring compliance with USGAAP. You will collaborate with the CEO ad Operations Director for budget and forecast preparation, as well as providing them with insightful monthly trend and variance analysis and commentary on results. There is also the opportunity to assist with the preparation of monthly consolidated Group reports, and the Group's Annual Report.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be CA / CPA qualified with previous experience in chartered accounting and / or a US multinational with a working knowledge of USGAAP.
They will bring a strong technical accounting skill-set to the table, as well as a commercial acumen, to identify and solve commercial and operational issues as they emerge. There is a strong preference for previous experience with C-Suite stakeholders, and a track record of having influenced strategic decisions.
