My client is a very successful and well known QLD builder with a strong presence in Brisbane. As a result of their continued success and multiple recent tender wins they are currently adding to their headcount and in urgent need of a Junior Contracts Administrator to join their team for the delivery of multi-story residential and townhouse projects from $5m - $20m.
This company has built their reputation on delivering projects on time and under budget and have a strong history of report work with their clients. They have a strong focus on staff retention and building teams that work collaboratively with the client and their subcontractors whilst still remaining focused on their desired company outcome.
They consider their staff their most valuable asset and invest a lot of money back into development and training and as a result they have one of the most efficient and professional outfits in the market today.
Your duties/job
This is an entry level position and involves;
- Supporting the Projects Managers and Senior Contracts Administrators with all day to day tasks
- Assisting cash flow forecasting and ensuring cost codes are accurately maintained
- Maintain of formal notices and key correspondence
- Assist with sub-contractor and consultant liaison
- General administration duties
- Document Control
- Interpret plans and specifications to understand the full scope of works for the projects
- Ensure compliance and quality is met
- Assist with Progress Claims / Invoices
Requirements:
- 1-2 years prior experience would be favoured
- Degree in Construction Management or equivalent
- Trade background & practical experience would be favoured
- Strong attention to detail skills
- A can-do attitude and be willing to go above and beyond to expand further on your construction knowledge
