Job Description
- Key point of contact between Finance and the allocated Business Groups. Support the Finance team in ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Delivery of high quality management reporting and financial support across TOTEX and Cash Flow for the allocated Business Groups.
- Drive the uplift in financial knowledge and business acumen to key stakeholders across the Business Group portfolio to improve commercial capability to proactively manage its financial performance.
- Develop strong working relationships with the Business Group portfolio to understand the Group business plan strategy, and linkages to organisation strategy to enhance organisation performance through identification and recommendation of actions upon financial risks and opportunities.
- Proactively provide Business Groups with highly relevant insights into performance management and assist in the decision making process by providing insightful information and financial analysis.
- In the capacity as a trusted adviser, free up roadblocks in finance processes to assist the business in achieving its deliverables.
- Understand Financial Sustainability Strategy and regulatory environment to assist in driving business strategy within the business, to provide long-term and ongoing revenue and savings outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
- CA/CPA Qualified or equivalent
- Circa 4+ years in a Senior Management, Finance Business Partner or other senior level role in management accounting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high level of customer service when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfort in consulting and working with senior stakeholders to challenge and influence effective decision-making in an ambiguous and complex environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to coach, mentor, motivate and educate non finance stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills based on continual evaluation of priorities and meeting deadlines with high quality deliverables reflecting complete understanding of expectations.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
- Experience in process improvement and demonstrated initiative to action process improvements.
- Strong financial modelling skills and ability to use data analytics tools to provide insights and reporting.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environment, application of financial policies, guidelines and internal control procedures, which affect the activities being performed.
What's on Offer
The client is paying circa $117,000 base + super for this position. There will be a slight salary increase in July which this candidate will benefit from.
