Job Description
Due to increased client demand the team now requires a new member of their engineering team to help with the workload and capitalize on all opportunities presenting themselves including:
- Machine Safety Risk Assessments.
- Safety Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Safety Control System Design.
- Safety System Verification and Validation.
- Project Management.
The Successful Applicant
Necessary to your success within this challenging role will be your ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, have strong customer support and service experience and have experience in assessing and verifying a variety of industrial equipment while also possessing the following:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Previous experience in Machine Safety with TUV Certification CMSE or FSE.
- In depth knowledge of Australian and international standards, including AS 4024.1 series.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation and control, or process and safety.
- AutoCAD Electrical experience.
- Experience with development of safety lifecycle documentation, such as hardware and software requirements and design specifications, and test documentation.
- Experience with probabilistic calculations, gathering and application of failure rate data.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team.
- A focus on quality and performance and a keen eye for detail.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of enthusiasm and willing to be "hands-on".
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
