Quality of Life Psychology is a busy clinical psychology practice. Our reception staff are considered the face of the business and regarded as integral to everything we do.

We are searching for a career administrator that has a warm and personable nature, enjoys meeting new people but is able to prioritise, organise, and work efficiently and independently.

The successful candidate will lead the role of Practice Receptionist. This role would best suit a mature person who is seeking a long-term position but wants to work part-time only. The days you will primarily be required are Monday and Tuesday. We keep business hours with occasional late finishes around 5.30- 6.

Essential Criteria:Experience working within a private medical, psychology or allied health practice, and or relevant training in practice management or practice administration.Experience with Medicare, HiCaps, and ReturntoworkSA and other billing procedures.Excellent organisational skills and high-level attention to detail.Exceptional spelling and grammatical capacity.A friendly, warm phone and in person manner.Be a multitasking superstar! The role requires the ability manage several tasks at once.The skills required to manage multiple diaries at one time; taking bookings, rescheduling appointments and keeping practitioners updated on changes to their schedules.Excellent Mac (we exclusively use Mac) computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft products.Working with children check or capacity to get one.Demonstrated understanding and commitment to confidentiality and privacy.Willingness to work as part of a team.Have a can do attitude.

Desirable CriteriaExperience working in a mental health setting.Be familiar with Medicare requirements regarding mental health care plans (MHCP), referrals and rebates.Experience with processing payments via EFTPOS and online accounts software.Experience using PowerDiary.
