This team values diverse thinking and provides a positive and family based work environment.This is a permanent Perth-based role with occasional site visits.
Job Description
- Provide technical support to project managers, including responding to technical queries and reviewing contractor drawings
- Design mechanical machinery and materials handling equipment to improve operational output and reduce risk
- Prepare project and equipment design documentation to ensure smooth execution
- Minimise project costs while maximising value creation for the business
- Develop and monitor technical standards and specifications for efficient and standardised operations across key assets
- Participate in equipment inspections and site commissioning works as needed.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- +3 years of post-graduate experience
- Experience in material handling, advantageous
- Familiar with Engineering design software's such as AutoCAD, Inventor
- Exposure to or experience on large design projects is beneficial
- Strong commitment to safety principles and Safety in Design principles
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, codes of practice, and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
