The Venues
Both set in one of Sydneys most iconic buildings first up: Reign, Sydneys premium Champagne Parlour serves up over 200 Champagnes and sparkling wines alongside an array of champagne flights and by the glass options. Almost the yin to Reigns yang is ESQ: a chic bar & bistro with an old-world vibe plating reinvented classics, serving craft cocktails and a focus on premium wines with a Baller list by the glass and bottle.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are seeking a Sommelier to ensure the smooth running of daily beverage operations at two of Sydney's most beautiful venues. Your role includes building and maintaining two wine lists, monthly stock control, employees are competently trained in wines by the glass and matching wines, build and share knowledge in beverages and providing exceptional customer service to all guests.
Desirable Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in fine dining or a similar position High attention to detail, communication, and strong leadership skills Ability to multitask, work under pressure and resolve problems efficiently Excellent knowledge when it comes to Wine & Spirits Experience with POS systems and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Assistant/Senior Sommelier who is ready to put their stamp on the wine & restaurant scene
Junior Sommelier who is wanting to progress in their career and learn how to run a Beverage Program with the guidance from our Group Sommelier
(starting off smaller, with room to grow)
