Job summary
AGIG is recruiting for a Cyber Security Operations Analyst, responsible for providing security operations support services, including identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery from cyber security events.This role will perform monitoring, analysis and response to security events and threats and provide administrative support for specific security products. Key responsibilities will include: Work as part of the Cyber Security Operations team to ensure AGIGs security products, systems and services manage security risks appropriately.Work collaboratively with Information Technology (IT) external service providers and operational staff and to ensure that security measures are implemented and operational.Help assess current technology architecture for vulnerabilities, weaknesses and for possible upgrades or improvement.Manage incoming events and ticket queues for potential cyber incidents, supporting the investigation, response and reporting of cyber incidents. Assist with the implementation of technology upgrades, changes, or improvements with respect to cyber security risks and impacts to the cyber security posture.
What are we looking for in you?Applications are encouraged from suitably qualified IT professionals including those with experience coordinating technical investigations into cyber security incidents.Technical understanding of ICT networks and cyber threats, with ability to communicate technical concepts to varied audiences, together with proven success identifying and initiating activities that support continuous improvementAn understanding of vulnerability management solutions such as Tenable Nessus Excellent verbal and written communication skills
