source signalling professionals from around the globe.

QR operates passenger and freight rail services across Queensland, and is committed to providing a
customer-focused, safe and world-class rail service. It is also responsible for the maintenance of a 6600 ...

kilometre rail network and the effective delivery of projects to improve the efficiency and increase the
capacity of its rail assets.
QR has a current project pipeline of over A$10 billion and this is expected to grow exponentially in the
build up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. As a result of this significant investment, the need to secure in-
house signalling and systems assurance resources is paramount to support the Major Projects and
Integration division (MPI). MPI is currently delivering Cross River Rail, which includes the
installation/commissioning of ETCS level 2 and the Fast Rail project from Brisbane to the Sunshine
Coast.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Reviewing design specifications and drawings
Coordinating with project stakeholders
Managing and overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of signalling systems
Identifying and resolving technical issues related to signalling systems
Maintaining project documentation and records
Managing project budgets and schedules

To be successful in this role:

You will need to have significant rail signalling delivery experience as a Signalling Project
Engineer in a brownfield environment
A relevant engineering degree
You will have a high level of skill providing technical/professional signal engineering solutions
