The Federal Government is looking for multiple staff to engage in a call centre position. The role's primary focus is to assist diverse Australians by providing assistance and support with government incentives. The call centre environment prides itself on providing effective and quality customer service to all callers.
Duties and responsibilities would primarily include:
- Liaising with all callers surrounding their concerns, questions, and feedback
- Assisting with first contact resolution
- Providing customer service over the phone, as well as written correspondence
- Effectively researching and sharing information between individuals
- Familiarising yourself with the departments processes, policies, procedures, and systems, and communicating them effectively to callers
- Promoting online government services and resources to improve customer experience
The successful candidate would be:
- Able to provide quality customer service, both written and verbal
- Empathetic and understanding of culturally diverse individuals and/or difficult situations
- Able to remain calm and professional in a challenging environment
- Highly emotionally intelligent and able to work in team environments
