Job summary
An excellent opportunity exists for suitably qualified individuals to join the REX Group as a full-time B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME).Positions are available at our base in Mascot, Sydney.
Reporting:
This position reports to the Line Maintenance Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities: Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group aircraft and aircraft components within a maintenance team. Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements
Service and clean hangar, tools and ground equipment Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary Observe all standards and procedures contained within Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations, as well as individual aircraft systems maintenance.
Essential Selection Criteria: A demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements, under minimal supervision and to strict deadlines. A valid drivers licence Well-developed verbal and written communication skills A high level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic Flexibility with working hours Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.
Preferred Selection Criteria: B1 Type rated licence SAAB 340 endorsed Experience on transport category aircraft Experience in Airline operations Lower Group aircraft ratings Certificate 4 in training and assessment would be an added advantage.
Saab 340 Course will be available for suitably qualified applicants.
Conditions:
Terms and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers Agreement with a starting range of AUD 89K 137K.
Sign on bonus of $30K for exceptional CASA Saab 340 licensed Engineers.
