job detailsEC Carpets is celebrating their 60th anniversary, and expanding and moving into a brand new, state-of-the-art facility spanning 14,000 square meters in Lonsdale, South Australia. They are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join their team as they continue to grow and provide quality loop pile carpets to their customers. Are you mechanically minded with experience working in manufacturing and production? Have you considered becoming a machine operator? EC Carpets are looking for someone who has flexibility to work over multiple shift patterns (Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts - must be available across at least two of these)

Experience that would be beneficial
Prior experience in a similar machine operator or production worker role. Alternatively, skills such as the following are transferable.
- Hand and power tool experience
- Assembly line experience
- Warehouse
- Picking and packing
- Machine operation
What you will be doing:
- Operating carpet manufacturing machinery.
- Loading and unloading material on carpet machinery.
- Processing of data in relevant systems.
- Quality control of carpet.
- Participate in regular training. Share experiences and cross-train other team members.
- Participate in regular operations sessions and contribute in a productive manner.
- As required, actively contribute to the continuous improvement, eliminating waste and development of the business.
