Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia is on the search for a Technical Support Engineer (Level 1) who can has strong problem-solving skills, resilient and self-motivated looking to grow their career and make a true difference within our company.

Our ICT team prides themselves on being a true partner within our company by providing real-time operational support. Your new role as the Technical Support Engineer is to assist ICT helpdesk team and infrastructure team in providing Level technical support to all Voyages business users, maintaining, and upgrading Voyages, workstations, and applications. This role is the first point of contract for all Level 1 Support Requests.

What You Will Be Doing: Provide systems and applications support for Voyages business users Log, manage and prioritise the tickets in the helpdesk, ensure effective communication until resolution. Assist the Infrastructure team with user provisioning and management, endpoint deployment, diagnostic, management and imaging.

We Want to Talk To You If You Have:A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. On-going technical training to upskill and keep up with the latest technology trends. Emergency after hours "On-Call" support on a rotating basis for any critical problems that may be encountered. OS: Windows Server 2008 - 2019, Window 10-11. Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, Endpoint Manager, Autopilot. Microsoft Active Directory management (users, groups, OUs, DNS, DHCP, replication, hardening). InTune (MDM) and Apple Business Manager. Microsoft Exchange Online with Mimecast spam filtering or similar. XDR: Trend Micro Vision One, Darktrace or similar. A good understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, IPSec, NAT, VPN, TLS, IPS, DNS and other network related protocols. Basic PowerShell scripting. File and Print management. Patch management and reporting. Excellent problem-solving skills. Exceptional level of customer service. Great technical and non-technical communication skills. Basic understanding of VMWare infrastructure management. Basic understanding of Citrix XenApp, Microsoft RDS or similar. Basic Oracle SQL skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a cross cultural and complex environment
