Job Description
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Global Sales will assume all responsibility for the development and execution of the sales strategy. Working closely with the team and distributors, this leader will be ultimately be accountable for achieving the sales objectives of the organisation. Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Leveraging the existing established markets and customers to create an opportunity to scale the businesses growth.
- Network and engage with senior board level stakeholders across target verticals to deliver on the top-down engagement strategy.
- Provide aspiration leadership to the sales team to take ownership on delivering business growth objectives.
- Coach, mentor and up-skill the team whilst encouraging innovation.
- Work closely with the senior management team to collaborate on future direction and potential of the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
- The successful candidate will have experience in a similar hands-on leadership position providing technical solutions to customers. This includes experience in leading a direct and indirect sales function on a global scale.
- The ability to provide strategic agility will be important as the business adapts to both organic and inorganic growth. The sales leader will be required to pivot and evolve the sales strategy as the business requires.
- Experience in working with a diverse range of Industrial Technology solutions.
- They must be passionate about working with customers, leading executive engagement and delivering on scalable sales solutions.
- They will need to bring energy to inspire, be excitable and a passionate leader that has the drive to take on a high growth opportunity.
- Highly desirable to have relevant networks within the mining & resources sector.
