- Has room leader experience.
- Is dedicated to implementing an inquiry and research-based curriculum, rethinking approaches to programming and documentation.
- Views children as capable and competent, feeling inspired by their learning journey.
- Understands both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Can work collaboratively as a team.
- Is flexible, reliable, and respectful of children, exploring new ideas as co-researchers and co-learners.
- Encourages children to express their ideas, hypotheses, and theories using the 100 Languages of Children.
- Can create inviting, inspiring, and challenging learning environments, valuing 'the environment as the 3rd teacher.'
- Is joyful in their work and engagement with children and families.
Requirements:
- An ACECQA approved Diploma or be studying towards one.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or we will pay for training).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
