Job summary
We are currently looking for a Restaurant Manager to join and take leadership of the team.This role will report directly to the director of our company and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and financial success of the restaurants as well as the development of its staff.
Your responsibility:Enforcing COVID-19 Safety measures; Training in food safety and ensuring facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional, and of suitable appearanceExtensive food knowledge; planning menus in consultation with Chefs;arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget;Capability to understand customer needs and to be innovative in the fulfillment of these needs;Detailed knowledge of the Sydney restaurant scene and the expectations that come with this;Proven ability to lead a team of staff; Ability to mentor and train staff;Ability to create staff rosters and manage budgets associated with these rosters;Have a hands-on approach and be able to help out where needed, take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders.
RequirementAt least 2 years experience as a restaurant manager;Advanced communication skills;A positive and outgoing personality;A passion for quality service and food;Revenue, profitability, and quality control in all areas.
