The Digital Education Manager will ensure that the digital experiences meet best
practice digital delivery standards, are accredited with relevant authorities and are
appropriate for the intended audience and support the Agencies Strategic Plan.
The successful candidate will bring;
- Demonstrated experience and qualifications in the development and
- delivery of innovative and successful digital education programs informal or
- informal education environments.
- - Strong understanding of contemporary thinking in education theory and
- practice and competency incorporating First Nations concepts and content
- in education.
- - Experience in digital delivery of education programs for students and
- teachers and practical understanding of how these are delivered and
- implemented in the classroom.
- - Focused on innovation and outcomes driven with experience working in
- dynamic digital environments and delivering projects that require
- simultaneous coordination of multiple work streams.
- - Management and leadership experience of high performing and diverse
- teams including fostering collaboration, mentoring and coaching, and
- capability building.
- - Experience working with an education focused organization that
- collaborates with national stakeholders to deliver innovative curriculum
- relevant digital education programs.
- - Experience in working across organisations to foster cooperation and bring
- the ability to harness information and demonstrate judgement in complex

EL1 Education Manager -
The Agency has an exciting opportunity for an education professional to join the Agency to lead the team responsible for the development and delivery of on-site education programs for students and teachers, including onsite delivery at the Agency, and outreach in schools.
This position will establish and maintain partnerships with education related organisations, coordinate teacher professional development initiatives and evolve the way in which the Agency delivers education programs. The position is part of the Education Business Unit leadership team and works to ensure learning experiences and audience engagement are at the forefront of our work.
This is an identified position where part of the duties impact on First Nations communities or their representatives.
Position Duties
- Demonstrated experience and qualifications in the teaching of history, humanities, civics and citizenship, or social sciences in formal or informal education environments.
- Strong understanding of contemporary thinking in education theory and practice and competency incorporating First Nations concepts and content in education.
- Experience in both face-to-face and digital delivery of education programs with a record of implementing new practices and approaches to achieve outcomes.
- Management and leadership experience of high performing and diverse teams including fostering collaboration, mentoring and coaching, and capability building.
- Leadership to support the Museum to continue to play an important and valued role as an education focused organisation that collaborates with national stakeholders to deliver innovative curriculum relevant education programs.
