About Our ClientAs the Change Director you will be providing strategic and operational advice to the Assistant Commissioners, Community Corrections and Specialist Operations on all related matters, including change and culture management, business integration management, transformational and internal communication functions.
Job Description
- Lead transformational change activities across the division to deliver the broad reform agendas to ensure acceptance across the agency.
- Coordinate and quality assure correspondence, briefing materials and reports that align with the strategic objectives, policies and frameworks of the reform agenda.
- Provide expert, evidence-based and trusted advice to Project Managers, Directors, and other Executives on a range of strategic matters to support and inform decisions related to the reform agenda.
- Develop strategic relationships and engage with key internal and external stakeholders and represent the department in a range of forums.
- Facilitate effective collection and analysis of information in order to build relationships across the department to support capability development and engagement.
- Foster a workplace that values collaboration, evidence-based decision making, innovation, and performance orientation.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in leading the provision of strategic and operational support in a large and complex public sector organisation.
- Experience in leading change and culture reform in a large and complex public sector organisation.
- Experience in program and project management.
- High-level knowledge of contemporary business processes, along with an understanding of the structure and objectives of the government and its relationships with other agencies and organisations.
- Experience in leading large-scale reform or transformational change within an organisation.
- High-level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiate with others on sensitive and complex issues.
